Code of Conduct

Participants at FOSS4G UK 2018 are expected to act respectfully toward others in accordance with the OSGeo Code of Conduct.

We want to keep the cost of entry to FOSS4GUK as low as possible, whilst also providing a quality event - sponsorship will help us to do that. If you are interested in sponsoring FOSS4GUK, there are opportunities for the smallest to the largest companies, and even for one man bands.

• ~1hr 30mins from Birmingham by train
• ~3hrs 40mins from Cardiff by train

Getting to the Urban Innovation Centre

• ~7 minute walk from Farringdon Tube Station
• ~17 minute walk from Chancery Lane Tube Station
• ~19 minute walk from Angel Tube Station

Party

The FOSS4G UK 2018 Party will be taking place on the Thursday at The Bowler, about 5 minutes walk from the venue.

Accommodation

London has many levels of accommodation available. It’s worth keeping an eye on websites like booking.com, trivago and expedia.

We’ve created a predefined search on Google Maps that might help you narrow down your choice.

Here are some hotels the committee has stayed in previously and can recommend:

• Qbic (Aldgate) - cheap, modern, clean and affordable. Located in Aldgate it’s a short tube to Farringdon, and walkable for the brave.
• Town Hall (Bethnal Green) - set in Bethnal Greens old town hall, great hotel for more lenient budgets.

Code Sprint

The Code sprint will be 9-5 at Geolytix. Lunch will be provided thanks to the generosity of our sponsors.
